Specialty Condition Report Writer

Responsibilities



- Identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems by inspecting all Specialty units at time of receipt (i.?e.? odometer reading, engine, noting any damage or repair to frame, paint or other, engine noise, radio, tire condition, etc.?)

- Document Specialty unit condition in writing by completing appropriate Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) and/?or computer data entry in a timely manner.?

- Prepare selected Specialty units for Internet viewing by taking digital pictures during the inspection process and writing Internet Condition reports.?

- Assist in locating and moving units and starting and/?or jump-starting unit as needed.?

- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor,

- May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.?




Qualifications



High School Diploma or equivalent required.? 1-3 years experience as a Condition Report Writer, or mechanical and/?or body shop experience.? Valid Driver's License and safe driving record required, basic computer software skills required, good written and verbal communication skills.? Background in automotive repair cost estimating preferred.? Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.? Ability to push, pull and maneuver units, including full size ATVs and motorcycles, without the aid of motorized equipment.? Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch and climb.? Medium strength.? Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.? Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.? Moderate Noise level.?
